The BART brand was founded 60 years ago, and has been an integral part of our journey ever since. Specialising in an extensive selection of premium herbs and spices, BART satisfies the tastebuds of even the most adventurous cooks.
A foodie favourite up and down the country, each product is rigorously tested by our development chefs to ensure it exceeds the expectations of our customers. One of the most comprehensive range of quality cooking ingredients available in the UK, the BART product range spans dried herbs, ground spices, and cooking pastes.

Hanbury
Hanbury started life as an upmarket catering company and cookery school known as The Hanbury Cookery School. Back then, the cookery school was based in a former Methodist chapel with the Hanbury logo emblazoned above the door.
The first condiment ever produced under the Hanbury brand was flavoured salt from France, perfect for the discerning home cook. This was sold through luxury department stores Harrods and Fortnum & Mason.
Hanbury became part of the BART Ingredients Company in 2006, and now offers a comprehensive range of herbs and spices in large containers, sold exclusively through The Range stores in the UK. These products are perfect for those who use ingredients in large quantities, and demand exceptional flavour.
